Corrie Martin is an experienced executive and strategic operations leader who partners with mission-driven organizations through fractional and interim leadership, as well as coaching and mentoring for senior leaders and managers.
She has a proven track record of strengthening and scaling organizations by translating strategy into clear, effective operations—particularly during periods of growth, transition, or increased complexity. Corrie works alongside CEOs, boards, and leadership teams to stabilize execution, align people and structures, and build the internal capacity needed to move forward with clarity and confidence. Her approach combines hands-on operational leadership with a focus on identifying blind spots, helping teams get unstuck, and supporting leaders as they grow into expanded roles.
Corrie has held senior leadership roles across nonprofit, academic, healthcare, government, and global development sectors. Most recently, she served as the first Chief Operating Officer and Special Advisor to the President & CEO at the Woodwell Climate Research Center. Previously, she was COO of the Ragon Institute (Mass General Brigham, MIT & Harvard) and Executive Director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, where she helped shape long-term vision and build the operational foundations to support institutional growth and impact. Earlier in her career, she held senior global leadership roles with the Clinton Health Access Initiative and the Clinton Climate Initiative.
Corrie began her career in international development and service, including with the Peace Corps, and has lived and worked across diverse cultural and operational environments.
She holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont. Through SCALE Advisors, Corrie now supports organizations seeking experienced leadership, practical guidance, and stronger, more resilient operations—while developing the leaders who will carry that work forward.
